ACI Group, a leading distributor working with some of the largest global food, pharma, industrial and road brands, has been named as a runner-up of the Excellence in Customer Services Award by the Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce.
The awards ceremony, which took place on 23rd June, is seen as the highlight of the business year in the Thames Valley region. The event was hosted by BBC television presenter Chris Hollins during a glitzy black-tie evening at the Hilton Hotel in Reading, with more than 20 local businesses in attendance.
ACI Group was among two other companies – Moxy & Residence Inn Slough and Virgin Incentives – shortlisted for its commitment to customer service excellence. All three were judged by a panel of Chamber Board members and local Chamber Presidents, with the UK distributor being named as a worthy runner-up following the award’s rigorous criteria.
Karsten Smet, Director at ACI Group, commented: “Though we just missed out on the award this year, being nominated as a finalist remains a fantastic achievement for ACI Group – and we are so proud of our team. We make it our mission to put our customers at the heart of our business and every day our team steps up to ensure that they receive superb service at every point of the value chain. Thank you to the Chamber of Commerce for recognising our achievements – it is a real honour to be a finalist and runner-up for the Excellence in Customer Services Award.”
