Liquid emulsifier for cationic rapid and medium-setting bitumen emulsions suitable for chipseal, open graded cold mix and tack coat. Emulsifier for phosphoric acid slurry and micro surfacing systems. 0.15-0.22% is normally sufficient for rapid-set emulsions. Emulsions have good storage stability. The product is particularly suitable for polymer-modified bitumens. High residue emulsions prepared using Redicote EM44 typically have medium or low viscosity which is useful when dealing with viscosity-building bitumens Redicote EM44 is a liquid, and is exceptionally easy to dissolve in even cold water during the preparation of emulsion soap phase. The product is suitable for both in-line and batch plants.
