Frutafit CLR Prebisol

Frutafit CLR Prebiosol is an inulin fibre extracted from Chicory root. It has an average chain length of 9 monomers, which is critical in aiding its solubility. Inulin from chicory is a polydisperse mixture of linear fructose polymers with mostly a terminal glucose unit, coupled by means of β(2-1) bonds. The number of units (degree of polymerization) can vary between 2 and 60. Inulin is proven to reach the large intestine in tact, where it feeds the beneficial bacteria in the gut. It is because of this that EFSA recognises its efficacy in promoting a healthy microbiome , based on a daily dose of 12g daily. Whilst Chicory root fibre provides health benefits, it can also aid function in terms of enabling sugar reduction, due to its naturally sweet flavour profile, and improving texture.
